Staff was EXCELLENT, breakfast was lovely. It was very close to everything and the view was delightful. Only 5 minutes drive to beeston castle. You can visit Gainsborough Restaurant that offers excellent meals.

The rooms were spacious and had a unique charm, and the bathroom was big with a bathtub 🛁. We really liked the beautiful and stunning surroundings, and the restaurant comes highly recommended. there was plenty of parking available.

Amazing building and location. Very peaceful and welcoming. Great staff - even though I arrived late they provided me with a meal. An early start and Breakfast was in my room the night before. Great staff and a great place very homely. Will be back

A delightful setting in a lovely area and grounds. The staff were very cheerful and helpful. The rooms were excellent - spacious and comfortable. The evening meal was excellent and well presented. Breakfast was plentiful. For the price we paid this was outstanding value. I would certainly want to stay again.

Nice quiet location within an easy drive to Chester, Large comfortable bedrooms with high ceilings and large armchairs. Informal atmosphere in an mpressive historic house set within large garden.
Food was very tasty, but for us was in too large portions; great for someone whois extremely hungry.

The staff were all very helpful, pleasant and efficient. The food was excellent - we had a three-course meal in the restaurant and breakfast - everything was delicious. The views and surrounding countryside are lovely. The hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere - we were reluctant to leave!
